Oku Manami ~

After her graduation from AKB48 on April 8th, Oku Manami promised her fans she'll return to the entertainment world in the future.

Following her final performance with the group yesterday, former AKB48 member Oku Manami (15) posted a blog entry in the early morning of April 9th to express her gratitude to her fans.

Looking back on the past five years she's spent performing at the AKB48 theater, she wrote, "Meeting so many fans, I was deeply moved by their warmth and kindness. They've given me many memories." She added that the 8th was a day she'll never forget for the rest of her life and swore to her fans that this won't be the end. Instead, she'd like to take some time to improve herself.

"Right now I have some difficulty reading and writing kanji and I'm stupid, so I'm going to train my mind for a little while," she laughed. "Once that's settled, I'll definitely return to the entertainment industry, so please wait for me!"
